Kalote waterfall is hidden waterfall ahead of Kalote Dam. It is not so far away from Panvel or Khopoli max 30-40 min ride. This waterfall is located in Kalote village near Monteria village/villa. Hike is simple through a village. One could enter the pool at base of waterfall. This place is surrouned by various restort & campsite.

5. KONDANA CAVES & WATERFALL

The Kondana Caves are located in the small village of Kondana, 33 km north of Lonavala and 16 km northwest of Karla Caves. This cave group has 16 Buddhist caves. The caves were excavated in first century B.C. The construction on wooden pattern is notable. One can reach the cave by descending from Rajmachi village. During the rainy season, one can enjoy the waterfall which originates from above the mountain and is mesmerizing to watch and enjoy as well. The caves being very old are still in great condition.
